CBSE Refutes Syllabus Reduction Reports for Board Exam 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has dismissed reports claiming a 15 per cent reduction in the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 board examinations in 2025, stating that no such policy decision has been taken.
Some media outlets had earlier reported that CBSE announced a syllabus cut of up to 15 per cent, attributing the statement to Vikas Kumar Agrawal, the Board's regional officer, during a school principal summit, 'Bridging the Gap,' in Indore.
In an official note, CBSE clarified that it has not issued any notice or introduced changes to its evaluation or examination policies.
The Board emphasised that all official updates regarding its policy decisions are communicated solely through its official website or authorised channels.
The Board reiterated that the circulated reports are unfounded and urged the public to rely only on official announcements for accurate information.
It added, "Information related to the Board's policy decisions is only published through the Board's official website or through authorized channels.”
