Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday (12 May) announced '10 guarantees of Kejriwal' to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi ki guarantee and blamed the delayed announcement on his arrest.
Kejriwal was arrested on 21 March by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi liquor policy case and was released by the Supreme Court on interim bail till 1 June for election campaigning.
The Delhi CM revealed that he has not discussed these guarantees with the INDI Alliance, of which Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is an alliance and expressed hope that the ally parties won't have any problem with the guarantees.
Kejriwal promised to give the army a free hand to remove "Chinese encroachment". He also assured a Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers and full state status to the national capital Delhi.
The Delhi CM promised 2 crore jobs in a year, ending corruption and putting Goods and Service Tax (GST) out of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and simplifying GST.
