Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Nearly 26 Per Cent Voter Turnout Recorded In First Phase Polling Across 21 States, UTs Till 11 AM

The first phase of the voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is ongoing across 102 Parliamentary constituencies in 21 states and UTs.

As of 11.00 am, over 25 per cent voter turnout was recorded across 21 states and UTs participating in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. 

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 21.82 per cent of voters have cast their ballots, while Arunachal Pradesh recorded a turnout of 23.29 per cent.

In Assam, the voter participation stands at 27.22 per cent, while Bihar recorded a turnout of 20.42 per cent.

Chhattisgarh saw a relatively higher turnout at 28.12 per cent, while Jammu and Kashmir registered 22.60 per cent. Lakshadweep reported a turnout of 16.33 per cent, while Madhya Pradesh saw a turnout of 30.46 per cent.


In Mizoram, 29.53 per cent of voters have exercised their franchise, while Nagaland recorded a turnout of 29.70 per cent. Puducherry saw a participation rate of 28.10 per cent, while Rajasthan registered a turnout of 22.59 per cent.

In Sikkim, voter participation stands at 21.20 per cent, while Tamil Nadu recorded a turnout of 23.92 per cent.

Tripura witnessed a relatively higher turnout at 34.54 per cent, while Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand saw turnouts of 25.48 per cent and 24.83 per cent, respectively.

West Bengal reported a notably high voter participation rate of 33.56 per cent.
