Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav concluded his United Kingdom (UK) visit on a high note, securing investment proposals worth Rs 60,000 crore across multiple sectors such as healthcare, industry, mining, services, and agriculture.
Yadav described the response from UK businesses as overwhelmingly positive, reflecting keen interest in Madhya Pradesh’s investment opportunities.
“To be honest, I was not expecting such a positive response," Yadav remarked, expressing delight at the enthusiasm shown by UK-based companies. "People working here in the UK have a lot of interest in Madhya Pradesh, and we are hoping for good investment. They are fully aware of our investment-friendly schemes and attitude," he added.
During his UK tour, Yadav engaged with representatives from leading firms, including Indorama Group, SRAM & MRAM Group, Cyanconnode, Hybrid Air Vehicles Limited, Clinisupplies, Aurora Energy Research, Elsevier, and The Montcalm Luxury Hotels, among others.
He discussed avenues to accelerate industrial growth and foster cooperation, while highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s supportive business environment and investment facilitation schemes.
He also emphasised the state’s growing potential in the automotive sector. Yadav outlined plans to provide Madhya Pradesh’s youth with access to expertise at WMG while inviting their experts to train local professionals. This initiative aims to strengthen Madhya Pradesh's position in the global automotive supply chain.
“India is a very important partner for us, and it was a pleasure for us to have the Chief Minister visit the university,” WMG Dean Clark noted during the visit.
Throughout his discussions, Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly ecosystem, stressing its commitment to supporting innovation and economic development.
