The Mahakumbh 2025 is witnessing a massive turnout of devotees in Prayagraj, with over 42 crore people having taken the holy dip as of 10 am today (7 February), according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

With 19 more days left in the event, it is expected that the number of bathers could exceed 50 crore.

The event continues to draw large crowds despite the completion of three significant Amrit Snans of Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Basant Panchami.

Devotees from across the globe, including 10 million kalpavasis, as well as other visitors and sadhus, are arriving in large numbers to bathe in the holy Triveni.

Record Attendance on Key Days

The highest number of attendees was on Mauni Amavasya, with more than 8 crore participants.

Other days like 30 January and 1 February also witnessed over 2 crore people each, and Paush Purnima attracted more than 1.7 crore participants.

Prominent Figures Among Attendees

Prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath have participated on different days in the world's largest religious gathering.

President Droupadi Murmu is also scheduled to visit the Maha Kumbh mela on 10 February.
