In the ongoing Delhi excise policy case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently questioning Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, as per a report by Hindustan Times.
Kejriwal, whom the central agency has repeatedly called the “kingpin” of the alleged scam, was arrested on 21 March.
The ED has also issued summons to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Durgesh Pathak, asking him to appear on Monday (8 April) afternoon.
According to the same report, Kumar is being questioned as the ED needs clarifications regarding some documents in its probe.
Regarding Pathak, an officer stated that his name appeared in some statements related to cash payments during the February 2022 Goa assembly elections, where AAP won two out of 40 seats with a 6.8 per cent vote share.
