Commuters in Ahmedabad will face temporary road closures as construction is progressing on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR), India’s first bullet train project.
To facilitate track assembly on pillars, three flyovers in the city will be either fully or partially shut down.
The Ahmedabad city police have issued a notification detailing the affected routes and alternative travel options.
Closure Period: 22 February to 23 March
Status: Completely closed for traffic
Alternate Routes:
Vehicles from Delhi Darwaza, Dariyapur Darwaza, and Prem Darwaza can proceed via Idgah Circle and Idgah Bridge (Girdharnagar Bridge), reach Girdharnagar Circle, and turn right towards Asarwa Crossing.
Those traveling from Saraspur, Gomtinagar, and Bapunagar can take the road under the Asarwa Bridge, head towards Civil Hospital or Girdharnagar Circle, and then proceed to Delhi Darwaza, Dariyapur Darwaza, and Prem Darwaza.
Commuters from Civil Hospital can turn right towards Girdharnagar Crossroads and access Idgah Bridge.

Traffic Advisory:
The BRTS corridor will have access to side roads.
One side of the road, where no construction is underway, will remain open for general traffic.

Status: Completely closed for traffic
Alternate Routes:
Commuters from Khokhara and Hatkeshwar can turn left at Madrasi Mandir AMTS bus stop, take Railway Colony Crossroads, proceed to Maninagar Railway Crossing, and continue towards Kankaria.
Travellers from LG Hospital and Kankaria can head to Jayhind Crossroads, turn left towards Maninagar Railway Crossing, and proceed towards Anupam Cinema, Jashodanagar, and Khokhara.
