Nitin Gadkari Announces Rs 30,000 Crore Road And Highway Projects For Rajasthan

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced nine major road and highway projects for Rajasthan with a total length of 800 kilometres.
Speaking at the session titled 'Infrastructure: An Important Link in Supply Chain' during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit on Tuesday (10 December), Gadkari unveiled plans for projects such as the Northern Jaipur Ring Road and the Jaipur-Kishangarh-Jodhpur-Amritsar Highway, with an estimated investment of Rs 30,000 crore.
Emphasising the strategic value of these projects, Gadkari remarked, "The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor passing through Rajasthan's tribal districts will accelerate their development and unlock industrial potential."
He underlined the role of a robust transport system as a cornerstone of infrastructure, enabling investment, asset creation, and employment generation.
Rajasthan’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Jogaram Patel, lauded the initiatives, stressing their transformative potential.
"An excellent road network and logistics sector are indispensable for the state's development. For the first time, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has undertaken measures to link Rajasthan's four corners with a seamless road network," he said.
