West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee announced that the INDI Alliance will participate in all constituencies during the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Addressing a rally in Chakla, North 24 Parganas district, Mamata emphasied the alliance's commitment despite lacking a specific agenda, leadership, or strategy.

"No agenda, no leadership, and no strategy...INDIA alliance will contest on all seats across the country," Mamata Banerjee stated.

While speaking at a public meeting in Chakla in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district, the West Bengal CM emphasised that she has been already giving five kilograms of rice to all the poor which BJP has been announcing in their election campaigns.

She criticised the BJP-led central government for withholding funds from West Bengal but asserted that her government sustained the MGNREGA scheme for 45 days, providing employment opportunities.

Mamata elaborated on the welfare schemes implemented since her government assumed power in 2021, citing free ration distribution, the Swastha Sathi card, Laxmir Bhandar, Sabuj Sathi cycle for Class 9 students, smartphones for Class 12 students, and financial aid under the Kanyashree scheme for unmarried women.

Addressing TMC workers, Mamata urged them to engage with the public, complete projects for the welfare of the people, and emphasised that the party's purpose is to serve the community rather than individual interests.

Meanwhile, the BJP-led NDA aims to secure a third consecutive term in power by winning a majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
