No Radiation Leak Or Release From Any Nuclear Facility In Pakistan: IAEA

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed there was no radiation leak or release from Pakistan’s nuclear facilities during its recent military standoff with India.
The Global nuclear watchdog’s statement came amid speculations on social media that Indian armed forces' strikes during Operation Sindoor may have targeted Pakistan’s nuclear sites.
"Based on information available to the IAEA, there has been no radiation leak or release from any nuclear facility in Pakistan," an IAEA spokesperson was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Marshal A K Bharti, Director General of Air Operations, had earlier dismissed claims that India struck Kirana Hills, which hosts key nuclear infrastructure.
"We have not hit Kirana Hills, whatever is there," Air Marshal Bharti said at a media briefing on 12 May.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had also refuted US President Donald Trump’s claimed that he helped prevent a nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan.
He said India's military action was in the conventional domain and denied speculation about a nuclear war.
"The military action from our side was entirely in the conventional domain," Jaiswal said.
