Twenty-four opposition parties under the INDI Alliance banner have finalised plans to confront the government on eight key issues during the Monsoon Session starting tomorrow (21 July), India Today reported.

These include the Pahalgam terror attack, Trump's ceasefire claims on Indo-Pak tensions, and the controversial electoral roll revision in Bihar, which the bloc alleges undermines voting rights.

During a virtual meet ahead of the session, senior leaders from INDI Alliance discussed eight major issues—ranging from alleged foreign policy lapses and the Gaza conflict to delimitation process and rising atrocities against Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women and minorities.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Congress' deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, said that the opposition expects the Prime Minister to be present during the Parliament session and directly address the critical issues being raised, adding that "Parliament is more important than travelling abroad."

Congress leader K C Venugopal affirmed that reinstating full statehood for Jammu and Kashmir is a top priority for the Opposition.

He added that the INDI bloc will hold a physical meeting in August to refine its strategy further.

The alliance suffered a visible rift with AAP pulling out entirely.

Key absentees also included Mamata Banerjee and M K Stalin, casting shadows on bloc unity.

The bloc also expressed serious concern over the government's "inaction" following the 22 April Pahalgam terror attack and accused it of failing to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The bloc also plans to raise "Operation Sindoor" and Trump’s claims of intervening in Indo-Pak tensions through trade pressure.

The Bihar electoral roll revision drew sharp criticism, with opposition leaders calling it an attempt at voter suppression.

They linked it to an "undeclared Emergency" and likened the move to "vote-bandi" following demonetisation.

Additionally, the bloc is set to raise issues such as the Ahmedabad plane crash and failures in foreign policy, alongside pressing concerns like farmers' struggles, unemployment and rising prices.

The bloc will reportedly also raise other issues, including the Ahmedabad plane crash, alleged failures in foreign policy, and domestic issues such as farmers' struggles, unemployment and rising prices.
