Pakistan Air Force's Nur Khan Airbase And Other Locations Were Hit By Indian Missiles, Confirms Shehbaz Sharif

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has publicly acknowledged India’s precision strikes on Pakistani Air Force's airbases during Operation Sindoor in the early hours of 10 May, marking the first direct confirmation by Pakistani leadership about the four-day conflict.
Speaking at a public event at the Pakistan Monument, Sharif revealed that Army Chief Gen Asim Munir called him at 2.30 am to inform that the strikes had begun.
“On the intervening night of May 9-10 around 2.30 am, Army chief Asim Munir called me over a secure line, informing me that Hindustani ballistic missiles had hit Nur Khan airbase and other areas," Sharif said.
BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya shared the clip of Sharif’s remarks on X, calling it clear proof of the impact and precision of Operation Sindoor.

Let that sink in -- the Prime Minister was woken up in the middle of the night with news of strikes deep inside Pakistan. This speaks volumes about the scale, precision, and boldness of "Operation Sindoor," Malviya wrote.
Earlier, Pakistan had claimed that its fighter jets had destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system at Adampur Airbase. The claim was debunked when PM Modi visited the very base days later.
The Indian strikes on 7 May came in response to the 22 April terror attack in Pahalgam, J&K, in which 26 innocent people, mostly tourists, were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists.
Between 8 and 10 May, Pakistan launched drone and missile attacks on Indian bases.
However, India retaliated with overwhelming firepower, targeting multiple Pakistani military installations.
After four days of intense military exchanges, both sides arrived at a mutual understanding on 10 May to halt further escalation.
