Pakistan Confirms Death Of Six Army And Five Air Force Personnel In India’s Operation Sindoor, Claims Civilian Casualties Too

The Pakistani military has publicly acknowledged the loss of 11 soldiers and 40 civilians during recent Indian airstrikes conducted as part of Operation Sindoor marking the first official admission by Pakistan of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fatalities, India Today reported.
According to a statement by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the casualties included six army personnel and five from the PAF, while 78 of its personnel were injured.
It acknowledged the loss of the air force personnel and Chief Technician Aurangzeb during Operation Sindoor, confirming the Indian Air Force's assertion that it had shot down "a few high-tech planes" including a Mirage jet belonging to the PAF.
Pakistan further alleged that 40 civilians, including seven women and 15 children, were killed and 121 injured in Indian shelling across the Line of Control (LoC).
India, however, insists that its forces operated with precision to avoid civilian casualties, while accusing Pakistan of deliberately targeting civilian zones, including religious sites such as temples, gurdwaras, and churches.
