Anti-drone systems deployed along the international border have significantly reduced drone activity from across the border, Border Security Force (BSF) officials said.

The forces are equipped with cutting-edge technology and weaponry to address any challenges.

Speaking at the 60th Raising Day celebrations of the BSF, Inspector General of the Jammu Frontier, D K Boora, emphasised the sensitive nature of the Jammu border, stating, "The focus is that not a single person should be able to infiltrate from the international border, regardless of weather conditions."

He then highlighted the success of anti-drone measures, saying, "Drone activities from across the border have come down, and the exact reason for it is known to them (Pakistan) only. However, since we have upgraded our (anti-drone) systems on the borders, this problem (drone incursions) has dropped to almost zero in Jammu, which proves that our technology is successful."

Boora also pointed out the heavy deployment of personnel and advanced technical surveillance across the Jammu border, indicating plans to extend these measures to other parts of the country.

"Technological upgradation happens on all sides... If any new thing is available, then it is available for us too... I assure you that our government and the forces do not leave any such shortage in upgradation," he stated.
