Pakistani Ministers Troll Afghan VP Saleh After He Posted Historic Image Of 1971 Pakistan Army Surrender On Twitter

Several Pakistani ministers trolled Afghanistan Vice President Amurllah Saleh for posting a 'Historic' picture of the Pakistan Army's surrender to the Indian Army in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.

Responding to Saleh's tweet, Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Minister Fawad Hussain called the Afghan VP a "hyena".

He further said that Saleh, who was the former head of Afghan Intelligence Agency National Directorate of Security (NDS), had "little interest in Afhanistan" or the region.

"You are just a scavenger will fly to safe heavens when the time ll be up (sic)," Hussain said in the tweet.

Fawad's junior minister Farrukh Habib went a step further and called Saleh an "Indian stooge" and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "daily wager".

Another Pakistani federal minister Zartaj Gul said that Saleh is a "small and bitter man" with a troll's mindset, adding that he is a "misfit" in Afghanistan.

Shireen Mazari, the Pakistani Federal Minister for Human Rights, also responded to Saleh's tweet by calling him a "delusional man" and asked the Afghan VP to "direct his RAW venom to introspection".

The famous picture was taken while Pakistan Army's Lieutenant General A A K Niazi signed the Instrument of Surrender in Dhaka on 16 December 1971.

"We don't have such a picture in our history and won't ever have," said Saleh said in the tweet.

"Yes, yesterday I flinched for a friction of a second as a rocket flew above & landed few meters away," the Afghan VP said, referring to the rocket attacks that took place on Tuesday (20 July) while President Ashraf Ghani and others were offering Namaz on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha at the Presidential Palace in Kabul.

"Dear Pak twitter attackers, Talibn & terrorism won't heal the trauma of this picture. Find other ways," he said, referring to the picture.

India had defeated Pakistan in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, following which the top brass of the Pakistan Army in the then East Pakistan and 93,000 soldiers surrendered to the Indian Army.
