PM Modi in Odisha
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (29 May) expressed concerns over the continuously deteriorating health of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the past one year.
While addressing a rally at Balasore, Modi said, "Those who have been with him for years say that now Naveen Babu can't do anything by himself. They also raise a concern that there might be a conspiracy behind deterioration in his health."
He said that this matter should be investrigated and the truth should come out and "that's why, when on 10 June, the BJP will form the government, a special committee will investigate the sudden deterioration in Naveen Babu's health."
Modi alleged that Odisha is poor because first the leaders of Congress looted it and now the BJD is looting it for the last 25 years. He claimed that industries have stopped here and connectivity has not improved.
"All the work that has been done, most of them are done in the last 10 years," Modi said highlighting redevelopment of railway stations and promised redevelopment of beaches and exploring sea tourism potential in Odisha.
He also highlighted how Jammu-Kashmir voted in record numbers after the abrogation of Article 370. He asserted how 500-year-long wait was brought to an end by establishing Ramlalla in a grand temple.
