These reforms, he said, are designed to lower the tax burden on everyday goods, making essential products more affordable for citizens, while also providing substantial benefits to industries.

In addition to tax reforms, the Prime Minister launched the Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, a nationwide employment scheme focused on youth empowerment.
The aim is to stimulate job creation, expand economic opportunities, and support skill development for the country’s growing workforce.
The announcements underline the government’s dual focus on sustaining economic progress and addressing employment challenges.
By coupling tax relief with direct employment support, the initiatives are positioned as complementary steps towards building a more prosperous and self-reliant India.
