Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), a Reliance Group subsidiary, will set up a Rs 1,622-crore mega beverage manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, reported Financial Express.
The facility will be set up at the Orvakallu Mega Industrial Hub in Andhra's Kurnool district.
The plant is reportedly expected to begin commercial production by December next year.
This facility will produce various beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, packaged drinking water, and other cold beverages.
The land acquisition for the project will conclude by 30 June, with registration following by 20 July, according to an official notice cited in the FE report.
Construction and machinery installation are set to finish by next year. The plant will begin commercial production in December 2026.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh confirmed project details, stating on X: “As part of our commitment to Rayalaseema's development, the state government has allotted land at Orvakal, Kurnool for Reliance Consumer Products Ltd to establish a Rs 1,622 crore mega beverages unit. Thanks to the visionary leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu, the unit will manufacture carbonated drinks, juices and packaged water—creating 1,200 direct jobs for locals. Rayalaseema's industrial transformation is taking shape.”
