RSS coordination meeting in Palakkad
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to hold its annual national-level Prant Pracharak (provincial in-charge Pracharak) meeting ahead of the selection of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national president.
This meeting is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from 4 to 6 July at the RSS's Delhi headquarters, known as 'Keshav Kunj', amid speculations that a new BJP president would be appointed only with the RSS's approval.
Sunil Ambekar, the All India Publicity Chief of the RSS, has officially confirmed that all Prant-pracharaks, Sah-prant pracharaks, and Kshetra (a unit comprising three-four provinces) pracharaks, along with Sah-kshetra pracharaks, will be in attendance at this meeting.
The organisational structure of the RSS is composed of 11 regions and 46 prants, TNIE reported.
Ambedkar outlined the agenda for the upcoming meeting in a statement. The discussion topics will include a report and evaluation of the recently held RSS training camps, plans for executing the year-long RSS centenary year events, the 2025-26 itinerary for RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat, and other upcoming activities.
The programs marking the centenary year of RSS (2025-26) will begin on Vijayadashami, occurring on October 2 this year, and will extend until the Vijayadashami of the following year, 2026.
The gathering in Delhi organized by the RSS will see the participation of its chief, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, and all Sah-Sarkaryawahs. These include Dr Krishna Gopal, CR Mukund, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt, Atul Limaye, and Alok Kumar.
All national-level Karya vibhag pramukhs, which translates to working vertical in-charges, along with other executive council members, will also be in attendance.
