Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain revealed on X that the Sambhal Civil Court has directed the advocate commissioner to conduct a survey of the alleged Jami Masjid in the Uttar Pradesh district.

Jain claimed that this Masjid was known as Hari Har Mandir and that Mughal emperor Babur partly demolished this place in 1529. It is believed that Kalki avatar is to happen at Sambhal, he added.

Vishnu Shankar Jain is the son of senior advocate Hari Shankar Jain. The father-son duo is currently representing over 110 cases, including the Krishna Janmabhoomi and Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri disputes.

The Jami Masjid in Sambhal, located in the heart of the city, is an important religious and historical site for the Muslim community. It is believed to have been built around the 16th century during the Mughal Empire's rule over northern India.

Over the years, the Jami Masjid of Sambhal has undergone several changes, including repairs and reconstruction. Despite these modifications, the mosque has retained its historical and religious significance.
