Tata Technologies To Set Up CIIIT In Nashik And Amravati

Maharashtra government has secured approval for establishing Centres for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIIIT) or C-Triple IT in Nashik and Amravati districts.
The approval came after Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s recent communication with Tata Technologies, urging the company to collaborate in setting up world-class skill training hubs in both districts.
Responding positively, the company has officially agreed to establish C-Triple IT centres in Nashik and Amravati.
These advanced centres will train local youth in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics, Automation, and Electric Vehicle Technology.
The initiative is expected to make globally competitive industrial training accessible within the state, especially benefiting young people from North Maharashtra (Nashik) and Vidarbha (Amravati).
Officials said the centres will create a strong pool of skilled manpower for industries, facilitate the growth of new enterprises, and generate fresh opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
The initiative will also provide hands-on exposure to modern industrial practices for students and professionals.
This development aligns with the Maharashtra government's ambitious target to establish a CI3T (Centre for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training) in every district.
The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has been directed to earmark land for these centres in urban-adjacent areas to ensure easier access.
