Top Iranian General Claims Pakistan Would Attack Israel With Nuclear Weapon If Tehran Is Nuked

Iran's top general, Mohsen Rezaei of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), revealed that Pakistan has privately assured Tehran of nuclear retaliation against Israel if the Jewish state launches a nuclear attack on the Iranian capital, reported News18.

"Pakistan has told us that if Israel uses nuclear missiles, we will also attack it with nuclear weapons," Turkiye Today quoted Rezaei as stating.

However, Pakistani officials have not publicly confirmed this statement, despite ongoing direct strikes by Israel on Iran and its nuclear facilities since 13 June. The conflict, now in its fourth day, has seen both nations launch ballistic missiles and drones.

Asif also called for Muslim nations to sever diplomatic ties with Israel and for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to strategise a joint response. He affirmed Pakistan's support for Tehran, stating, "We stand behind Iran and will support them at every international forum to protect their interest."

Israel initiated "preemptive attacks" on 13 June, dubbed 'Operation Rising Lion,' targeting Iran's nuclear program. Iran retaliated the following night with 'Operation True Promise,' firing ballistic missiles at Israel.
