News Brief
Tesla CEO Elon Musk
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has forecasted the downfall of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the federal election expected to take place by October 2025.
“He will be gone in the upcoming election,” posted Musk on X, while responding to a user's request to help Canada get rid of Trudeau.
The social media interaction began when a Swedish journalist posted an update on German government, stating, “The German Socialist government has COLLAPSED and there are now talks about a snap election.”
In response, Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, labelled German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a “fool” after the collapse of his three-party coalition.
Musk replied in German, saying, “Olaf ist ein Narr,” which translates to, “Olaf is a fool.”
This is not the first time Musk has slammed Trudeau. Earlier, he had criticised Trudeau’s government for crushing free speech in Canada.
Last year, the Canadian government made it compulsory for online streaming services to formally register with the government for 'regulatory controls'.
Musk called it “shameful” and wrote, “Trudeau is trying to crush free speech in Canada.”
