UP Government Secures Investment Proposals Worth Thousands Of Crores At Mumbai Roundtable—All About It

The Yogi Adityanath led government secured substantial investment proposals during a high-level investor roundtable organised by Invest UP at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre on Tuesday (27 May).

The meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and moderated by Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand, according to the Zee Business report.

The gathering drew some of India’s top industrialists, who lauded the state’s transparent governance and investor-friendly policies.

Several corporate leaders announced large-scale projects, promising to contribute significantly to the state’s economic transformation.

“CM Yogi’s decisive leadership and clear vision have made Uttar Pradesh one of the most reliable and attractive destinations for investments in India. We’re committed to ensuring transparency, speed, and full support for investors,” said Chief Secretary Singh.

Sindoor Mittal, Vice Chairperson of Avaada Group, praised the state’s swift coordination, revealing the commencement of a 1.5 GW solar module unit within just four months. She announced an additional investment of Rs 20,000 crore.

UltraTech Cement MD KC Jhanwar shared expansion plans worth Rs 1,981 crore in Aligarh, Shahjahanpur, and Tanda, citing the state’s integrated approval system as a key enabler.

Sanjay Banga, CEO of Tata Power Renewable Energy, detailed their renewable initiatives in Bundelkhand, including a Rs 13,700 crore plan for two 800 MW ultra-supercritical power units.

Other announcements included proposals for bioplastics, Mahabharat-themed tourism infrastructure, cold emulsion road mix plants, MedTech facilities, and solar units reflecting the state’s diversified industrial appeal.
