Wagh Bakri executive director Parag Desai
Parag Desai, a 49-year-old executive at Wagh Bakri Tea Group, passed away on Sunday (22 October) following a tragic encounter with stray dogs near his residence.
As per reports by Hindustan Times, On 15 October, Desai was attacked by street dogs, sustaining severe injuries. The security guard outside his home promptly alerted his family, who rushed him to Shelby Hospital.
After a day of observation at Shelby Hospital, Desai was transferred to Zydus Hospital for a surgical procedure. He succumbed to a brain hemorrhage while undergoing treatment.
Desai, the Director and owner of Wagh Bakri Tea, is survived by his wife Vidisha and daughter Parisha.
With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, he played a pivotal role in leading the International Business, Sales, and Marketing efforts of the Group, actively engaging with industry platforms like the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
He was widely respected as an influential figure in the industry.
