Prime Minister Narendra Modi has responded to the Opposition's allegations of him being a dictator, offering a pointed critique of such claims.

In an interview with ABP News, when asked about the Opposition calling him a 'dictator', PM Modi said, "I believe that the so-called dictator community must be the most distressed. They must feel that the term 'dictator' has been so degraded and devalued. How can a dictator be one who listens to accusations of dictatorship and yet remains silent? The real dictators must be thinking their market is declining".

PM Modi's comments come amid continuous criticism from opposition parties and leaders, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who often accuse him of authoritarian tendencies.

"Look, I always say, and I genuinely believe this is not just my political stance, they [Opposition] are 'naamdaar' (privileged), and we are 'kaamdaar' (hard-working). Therefore, insults and slander are written in our destiny," he remarked.

Reflecting on his life experiences, PM Modi added, "This is nothing new for me, as I have lived my life like this since childhood. Therefore, I accept that I can endure it".
