After Jharkhand, Hyderabad Becomes Safe Haven For Bihar Congress MLAs Amid Fears Of Poaching Post-Nitish Kumar's Departure

Following the example set by Jharkhand's coalition government MLAs, Bihar Congress legislators have now sought refuge in Hyderabad to shield themselves from potential poaching attempts, as reported by The New Indian Express.
Hyderabad, since the Congress came to power in Telangana, has become a favoured location for MLAs from various parts of the country to safeguard their positions.
Amidst speculation of the JD(U) attempting to orchestrate a split in the Congress before the newly-formed National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government faces a floor test in the Bihar Assembly, the Congress high command has decided to relocate its MLAs to Hyderabad.
In an interesting turn of events, approximately 17 Bihar legislators from the Congress arrived in Hyderabad shortly after the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress alliance MLAs left the city.
The Bihar MLAs have been accommodated in a private resort in Ibrahimpatnam, and they are expected to stay in the city until the floor test, scheduled for 12 February.
In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar severed ties with the Congress for the ninth time and recently formed a new government in alliance with the BJP.
Bihar Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and his predecessor Madan Mohan Jha accompanied the party MLAs to Hyderabad after a meeting in New Delhi.
