RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasised that India has been a secular nation for 5,000 years and called on people to stay united, setting a positive example for the world.
During the launch of the book Prithvi Sookta - An Ode To Mother Earth by Ranga Hari, he urged people to have devotion, love, and dedication towards their motherland.
According to NDTV, he highlighted that India's 5,000-year-old culture is inherently secular, and the belief in the world as one family should guide our actions.
Bhagwat stressed the importance of unity in India's diversity and encouraged people to promote unity rather than conflict.
He also acknowledged the role of seers in shaping India for the betterment of the world, emphasising their contribution to spreading knowledge across all strata of society.
Bhagwat recognised the nomadic communities, known as 'ghumantoos,' who have overcome past stigmatisation to contribute to society, sharing their culture and knowledge of ayurveda.
Finally, Bhagwat commended India's transformation of the G20 into a platform that prioritises the well-being of all humans by embracing the concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', a testament to India's commitment to unity.
