BJP Gears Up For Lok Sabha Elections: Party's National Convention At Bharat Mandapam On 17-18 February To Set Agenda For Polls

As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be organising a national convention on 17 and 18 February to discuss and set the agenda for the polls.

The two-day meeting is set to take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The opening session of the convention will be inaugurated by party president J P Nadda on 17 February.

The event will wrap up with a valedictory address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18 February.

However, a day before that, a meeting of BJP's national office bearers has been scheduled.

Invitees to the convention include general secretaries, cell convenors, presidents of various Morchas, and heads of municipal corporations, municipalities, nagar panchayats, and district panchayats.

Additionally, the two-day brain-storming session will see the participation of the party's National Executive, National Council, district presidents across the country, district in-charges, Lok Sabha in-charges, Cluster in-charges, Lok Sabha convenors, Lok Sabha extensionists, Disciplinary Committee, Finance Committee, chief spokespersons of states, Media Cell convenors, IT Cell officials at different levels from across the country, including convenors, Economic Times reported.

This comes as the party has set sights on PM Modi's return to power for third consecutive term in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are scheduled to be held in April-May this year.
