Colorado Court's Historic Ruling On Trump Disqualification: How It Will Impact 2024 US Presidential Race

In a significant legal development, the Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against former President Donald Trump, declaring him guilty of insurrection.
What Happened in Colorado?
The Colorado Supreme Court, in a majority decision of 4-3, determined that Trump is "disqualified from holding the office of President" under a specific section of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
This decision means Trump cannot be listed as a candidate in the upcoming presidential primary in Colorado.
The court's unique ruling, applicable only to Colorado, will remain in effect until 4 January, providing Trump an opportunity to appeal before the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS).
