Nikita Tomar, the victim of molestation who was murdered in Haryana's Fairdabad district in broad daylight outside her college, wanted to serve the armed forces. She wanted to serve the nation.

The victim had filed a molestation complaint against Touseef, the main accused in September. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has assured of strict action against Touseef, the main accused, and his friend Rehan.

The two accused allegedly tried to make her sit in the car after she stepped out of her college in Ballabhgarh. She had appeared for the last exam on Monday — the day she was murdered.

Her family hails from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh.

Touseef, reportedly, was Nikita's classmate in class XII. The family has alleged that he was coercing the victim for conversion to Islam and into marrying her.


Touseef has political connections. He hails from Mewat. He is related to Congress MLA from Nuh, Aftab Alam.

The family has made accusations that Touseef wanted to kidnap her with help from his friend. Failing to kidnap her, he shot her dead.

The family has said that it was one-sided 'love' that led him to stalk and harass her even after compromising after abducting her once.

She was reportedly preparing for the entrance exam for NDA. Her brother has said that she wanted to serve in the armed forces and wanted to serve the country.

Her family members have said that she had scored 95 per cent in board examinations for XII and was among the toppers.
