Krishna Janmabhoomi Case: Allahabad High Court Allows Survey Of Shahi Idgah Complex, Details Of Panel On 18 December

In a significant development in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case, the Allahabad High Court granted approval on Thursday (14 December) for the survey of the Shahi Idgah complex in Mathura. The court accepted the petition from the Hindu side, greenlighting the court-commissioned survey of the Shahi Idgah complex.
Vishnu Shankar Jain, the lawyer representing the Hindu side, stated, "Allahabad High Court has allowed our application in which we sought a survey of (Shahi Idgah Masjid) by an advocate commissioner. The modalities and details will be finalised on 18 December."
He added, "The court has rejected the arguments of Shahi Idgah Masjid. The court has in principle agreed with our demand that an advocate commissioner is required." However, it is yet to be determined who will be the advocate commssioner.
Jain asserted, "My demand was that in Shahi Idgah Masjid there are a lot of signs and symbols of the Hindu temple, and to know the actual position, an advocate commissioner panel is required. It's a landmark judgement by the court."
Earlier today, Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, expressed, "It's positive that the verdict will be reached. The survey holds importance... The facts are clearly revealed through the survey."
Notably, last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura. Sharing images of the visit, he posted, "The beautiful sight of Girdhar Gopal, who resides in every corner of Braj, left me emotional! I prayed for happiness, prosperity and well-being for all family members across the country."
