Naam Tamizhar Katchi: Here's All About The 'Pro-Tamil' Outfit Under Investigation By NIA Over Suspected LTTE Link

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting searches at multiple locations linked to key figures of the pro-Tamil outfit Naam Tamizhar Katchi (NTK), including Saatai Duraimurgan, over alleged laundering of funds from the banned organisation Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
Duraimurugan is a prominent Tamil YouTuber and a close associate of Naam Tamizhar Katchi chief Seeman.
Additionally, former NTK supporter and YouTuber Thenngam Vishnu is also being investigated.
The case is being investigated by the central agency about the revival of the banned organisation LTTE — a militant separatist group fighting for an independent homeland for Hindu Tamils in northeastern Sri Lanka.
As reported by News Nine, the raids are being conducted at approximately 10 locations across Tamil Nadu.

Naam Tamizhar Katchi is a prominent political outfit in Tamil Nadu claiming to be advocating for the rights and interests of the Tamil-speaking population in Sri Lanka.
Founded by actor and politician Seeman in 2010, as per the party it emphasises Tamil nationalism, social justice, and the preservation of Tamil culture.
NTK has been actively involved in various socio-political issues, and with a distinctive focus on Tamil identity and language, the party has previously garnered attention for its stance on various issues concerning Tamil Nadu.
