The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reportedly nabbed a key suspect in the Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe blast case.

The suspect, identified as Shabbir, was nabbed from Ballari district in Karnataka, India Today reported citing sources.

The anti-terror probe agency is currently interrogating Shabbir, who reportedly interacted with the main suspect in Ballari.

Ten people were injured in the low intensity blast at the popular cafe in Bengaluru on 1 March.

The explosion was carried out by triggering an IED bomb using a timer.

Earlier, the police have released several CCTV footages which featured the main suspect.

On 1 March, a photo of the suspect, believed to be around 30 years old, was captured which showed him carrying a plate of idli inside the cafe.

He was seen with a shoulder bag suspected to have the IED bomb inside.

In another CCTV footage, the same suspect is seen walking towards the restaurant with a bag.

Subsequent analysis of three additional CCTV recordings led investigators to conclude on March 9 that the suspect had changed his clothes and appearance multiple times after the cafe explosion.
