After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared 51 Lok Sabha candidates from Uttar Pradesh in its first list, its allies, namely Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and NISHAD Party, were reportedly disappointed.

This is because Om Prakash Rajbhar-led SBSP and Sanjay Nishad's party were expecting some of these seats for themselves. Moreover, they are said to be unhappy over the one-seat-each formula.

To express their grudges, the two leaders reportedly met Union Home Miniter Amit Shah. Both these parties want two seats each in the state's Purvanchal region.

While SBSP wanted two of Mau's Ghosi, Deoria's Salempur, Balia and Chandauli seats, the NISHAD Party sought two of Bhadohi, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh and Sultanpur seats.

After BJP's first list, SBSP is eying for two of Ghazipur, Ghosi and Balia seats and the NISHAD Party has its eyes on two of Sultanpur, Bhadohi and Ghazipur seats, Dainik Bhaskar reported.
