In a shocking development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is under scrutiny as his daughter, Seerat Kaur Mann, has made serious allegations against him.
As reported The Times Of India, in a viral video, she accuses the CM of emotional and physical abuse directed at her mother, his former wife.
Seerat also claims neglect towards herself and her younger brother, asserting that her brother was even thrown out of the CM’s residence at night.
Despite the explosive nature of the allegations, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has chosen to remain silent, deeming it a personal matter concerning Mann.
Sources reveal that the party views the issue as unrelated to politics and has opted not to comment on the situation.
Seerat Kaur Mann, in her video message, clarifies that her intent is not political, and emphasises that she wants their side of the story to be heard.
She asserts that her silence and her mother's silence have been misconstrued as weakness, and it is time for their perspective to be acknowledged.
Highlighting her disappointment in her father's conduct, Seerat alleges that Bhagwant Mann has not fulfilled his responsibilities toward her and her younger brother.
Seerat concludes by questioning Mann's capability to govern Punjab, stating, "a person who cannot shoulder the responsibility of his own children, how can he shoulder the responsibility of the people of Punjab?"
The video has ignited a storm of controversy, raising questions about the personal conduct of the Punjab Chief Minister.
