Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi was heckled by a group of Khalistani supporters on Tuesday (30 May) during an event in San Francisco, US. The Khalistani protestors disrupted his speech by waving the Khalistani flag and raised slogans against him, Indira Gandhi, and the Gandhi family in relation to the 1984 Sikh massacre in India.

Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun shared a video on social media, showing Khalistani supporters protesting against a Congress leader, shortly after the incident.

In the same video, Pannun also called Gandhi a "trader of Sikh genocide" and warned of resistance from Sikhs at his US appearances. Pannun also threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi with similar conditions during his visit, stating "Next will be Modi on June 22" in an attached audio clip.

Rahul Gandhi arrived in San Francisco earlier on Tuesday (30 May) for a US tour where he is slated talk with Indian expats and meet American lawmakers in three different cities.

PM Modi is scheduled to undertake an official State visit to the US from June 21-24.
