Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the body responsible for the construction and administration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, may soon build a darshan point to provide devotees a chance to watch the construction of Ram temple.

The trust officials said that a structure will be built after discussing with administrative officials and taking into account all security measures.

The trust plans the darshan point at a place that is located on the way to the makeshift temple and gives a wide view of the construction site. Officials said that while people will be allowed to take photos, no one will be allowed to cross the metal enclosure and go near the construction site.

“We have been thinking about setting up such a structure, but, so far, no final decision has been taken as we have to plan and look at all the security angles. We have to make sure that we do not make any compromises on the security front and do not hinder the construction work in any way, as these are our main priorities. Also, as of now, there is nothing significant going on at the site for the devotees to witness. The construction workers are digging ground and doing excavation work,” Anil Mishra, a member of the temple construction committee, told The Indian Express.

Recently on 15 March, the work to lay the foundation for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya began with members of the trust performing Vedic puja at the site before the commencement of the works.
