Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, stated that his government's development initiatives are diminishing the impact of "appeasement politics."
Responding to Lalu Yadav's comment about his lack of a family, Prime Minister Modi asserted that the entire nation is his family, calling it "Modi ka Parivar," as per a report by Hindustan Times.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the progress of Uttar Pradesh under his government, stating that the focus on development is weakening the influence of identity-based politics.
"As Uttar Pradesh is scaling the heights of development, the venom of appeasement is weakening," he said.
He criticised the opposition INDI Alliance, accusing it of relying on casteism and dynasty politics.
Prime Minister Modi also emphasised the transformation of Azamgarh, once associated with criminal activities, into a hub of development.
He announced a guarantee of Azamgarh becoming 'Ajanmagarh,' a stronghold of development, in the future.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Modi for changing the perception of Azamgarh through various development projects.
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 34,700 crore during his visit to the state.
