Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary campaigned for his ally BJP's candidate from Kairana, Pradeep Choudhary and targeted his former ally Samajwadi Party (SP) on Tuesday (9 April).

He alleged that Akhilesh Yadav-led SP was trying to harm RLD. Using a chess analogy, he said, "They were giving us queen and wanted to kill the king. I don't regret anything. I have responsibility for my people."

Choudhary explained that it is a politician's responsibility to take bitter decisions. He said that there are three types of leaders, one who leads the people, one who molds the people and one who stands for the people.

Praising his ally BJP, Choudhary said that the saffron party will leave no stone unturned in protecting the interests of RLD workers. He shared his vision for future that industrialisation is needed along with agricultute.

Chaoudhary appreciated BJP's will power and said, "In the eyes of the Central government, any work is not small and we have to give birth to this mindset in society."

He also voiced his opinion against caste discrimination and said, "Chaudhary Charan Singh's caste politics was to ensure that no caste is left behind. BJP is doing similar efforts."
