Will Help In Preparation For Big Day, Considering Closing Temple To Public On 20 and 21 January: Champat Rai

Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on, Monday (16 January) announced that Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla's murti in the Ram Temple 'garbha griha' (sanctum sanctorum) will take place at 12.20 pm on 22 January.

While addressing a press conference, Rai said the Pran Pratishtra will start at 12.20 pm and conclude at around 2 pm on 22 January.

He also said that the trust is considering closing temple to public on 20 and 21 January as it will help in preparations for the grand event on 22 January.

"Around 20-25,000 devotees visit the temple everyday. We are considering to close the temple for the public on 20 and 21 January. This will help in the preparations for the event," Rai said.
