'CM Stalin Had Also Asked Governor To Dismiss A Minister In 2018', Says Annamalai After Governor Ravi Puts Senthil Balaji's Dismissal On Hold

A day after Governor RN Ravi dismissed minister Senthil Balaji and later decided to keep his decision in abeyance, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai said that Chief Minister MK Stalin too had sought the dismissal of a minister by the Governor in 2018, when he was the leader of opposition.

In a tweet, he attached screenshots of tweets by Stalin asking the then Governor Banawarilal Purohit to dismiss the then Health Minister C Vijayabaskar for his alleged role in the Gutka scam.

"BJP Tamil Nadu, for now, reserves its comments on the dismissal of Cash for Job Scam Thiru Senthil Balaji from the council of ministers by the Hon Governor of TN. However, we want to remind TN CM Thiru @mkstalinof his doublespeak.

"What has changed between then & now? DMK’s drama wouldn't change the fact that Thiru Senthil Balaji is an accused under arrest!"
