The hashtag 'Go Back Stalin' has started to trend on Twitter before Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's visit to Patna on 23 June to attend the meeting of opposition parties being hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Twitter users have been posting videos of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leaders speaking about Biharis and the Hindi language.

Some of them are also unhappy with the action taken by the government against Manish Kashyap, a YouTuber who has been arrested for allegedly uploading fake videos of attacks on migrant workers in the state.

In response, supporters of the DMK have started hashtags saying 'BJP Fears Stalin' and 'Welcome Stalin.'

Reacting to the issue, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai said, "The uncouthness of DMK men and the divide & rule politics of TN CM Thiru @mkstalin are returning to bite them. Since Thiru @mkstalin will be in Bihar to meet other members of Dynast & parties that put only themselves - first, we sincerely wish he apologises to brothers & sisters of Bihar for his & his partymen’s past deeds."
