After addresses by Leaders of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury respectively and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the Central Hall of Parliament's old building on Tuesday (19 September).

Modi recalled various landmark judgments that the parliament witnessed and then talked about the future. While pointing out that aspirations of Indians are at its highest in 1,000 years, he called on people to work for a larger canvass.


Modi said that the focus should not be on dal (party), but dil (heart) that works for the country. The PM highlighted the importance of manufacturing sector and urged to work for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

While appreciating India's recent achievements in the field of sports, he expressed that he wants to see Indian youths way ahead and urged them for skill development.
