In response to West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose's establishment of an anti-corruption cell at Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticised the move, accusing it of interfering with the state's administration.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee further claimed that Bose is working under the influence of the Bharatiya Janata Party, referring to him as someone who is "wearing a mask."

Expressing her disapproval, Banerjee stated that the Raj Bhavan's role does not include the creation of anti-corruption cells.

Earlier today, Bose launched an 'anti-corruption cell' at Raj Bhavan, emphasising its purpose of providing a platform for people to submit their complaints to the appropriate authorities.

The Chief Minister also accused the Governor of appointing a person from his home state of Kerala as the vice chancellor of a university in Bengal, despite lacking any experience in the field of education.
