BJP leader Nitesh Rane
BJP MLA Nitesh Rane associated Sharad Pawar's grandnephew with the popular social media figure and Big Boss celebrity, Orry, in response to Rohit Pawar's Yuva Sangarsh Yatra.
Rohit Pawar's Yuva Sangarsh Yatra is set to arrive in Nagpur this Tuesday (12 December), coinciding with the ongoing winter assembly session in Maharashtra, Times Now News reported.
"Is there a reason for us to feel threatened? We are about to witness a significant yatra. In truth, Rohit Pawar can be compared to the Orry of Maharashtra politics, uncertain of what he represents," Rane said
He further mocked Rohit Pawar by saying, "Unlike Orry, who receives payment for photograph sessions, Rohit only craves these photo opportunities and doesn't even charge for them."
Notably, Orry has come to the limelight recently with his images with various Bollywood celebrities.
Rane stated that it's up to the people to determine the level of seriousness to accord Rohit Pawar. He suggested that this key player in Maharashtra politics could potentially dismantle what's left of Sharad Pawar's party.
Amol Mitkari, a leader of the NCP from the Ajit Pawar faction, also criticized Rohit Pawar, asserting that his attempts to fill Ajit Pawar's position will be unsuccessful.
Mitkari expressed skepticism about Rohit Pawar's ambitions, suggesting that he might believe he can step into Ajit Pawar's shoes by embarking on these journeys with his childhood friends. However, Mitkari doubts the feasibility of this, questioning what struggles Rohit has ever faced in his life.
Rohit Pawar is grandson of Sharad Pawar's brother late Appasaheb and son of Rajendra Pawar. He is an MLA from the Karjat-Jamkhed constituency of Maharashtra.
