President Droupadi Murmu To Visit Tamil Nadu And Puducherry Later This Week; To Rename Raj Bhavan's Darbar Hall As 'Bharathiar Mandapam'

President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu and Puducherry later this week.

She will arrive in Chennai on the night of 5th August and preside over the convocation of the University of Madras, the next day.

During her visits to the state earlier this year, President Murmu had visited the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari and the Madurai Meenakshi temple. She also took part in the Shivratri celebrations organised by the Isha Foundation.
