Rahul Gandhi's Plane Denied Landing Permission At Naval Airport In Kerala: Ernakulam Congress President

The Congress accused the Ministry of Defence of refusing landing permission for an aircraft carrying party leader Rahul Gandhi at the Naval airport in Ernakulam.

Mohammed Shiyas, the president of Ernakulam District Congress Committee (DCC), claimed that the Ministry initially approved the landing at the Naval facility but later rescinded it.

An official source, speaking to PTI, stated that the Defence Ministry made the decision regarding permission for private jet landings at the Naval Station but provided no further details.

The former Congress chief, presently on a tour of Kerala, has two scheduled programs in Kochi on Friday.
