Tamil Nadu: RSS Conducts Route Marches In 45 Places Across State; Union Minister of State L Murugan Participates

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) conducted route marches in 45 places across the state today evening (16 April), after the Supreme Court dismissed the state government’s appeal against the marches citing law and order issues and threats from organisations like the now-banned Popular Front of India (PFI).

The route marches were conducted peacefully amidst tight security, said the police.

Chennai, Madurai, Chengalapattu and Kanchipuram were some of the places where the marches took place. Union Minister of State L Murugan participated in one such march in Chennai’s Korattur.
