Tamil Nadu: TRB Rajaa Sworn In As Minister

TRB Rajaa, the son of senior Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader TR Baalu and the secretary of the party's IT Wing was sworn in as a minister this morning (11 May) by Governor RN Ravi.

His name was recommended by Chief Minister MK Stalin on 9 May after much speculation over a Cabinet reshuffle.

According to political commentators, Chief Minister Stalin may subsequently announce changes in the portfolios of other ministers.
